| Dinner at Planet Hollywood |
Flights are less expensive now, we found a decently prices hotel and the entrance tickets were very affordable.
There are 6 of us now, the family grows very slowly but, so far, we all fit around my dining table! Five of us flew from Glasgow to Charles deGaulle airport and our son who lives in London made his own way there. Booked our hotel and airport transfer through Booking.com and it made life much easier. Taxi got caught in traffic and was a bit late, but the contact was easy to do and we knew they at least had not forgotten us.
It takes about 40 minutes to drive to the Disney area. Arrived at the Vienna House Circus Magic Hotel and our rooms were not quite ready so they gave us vouchers for a free drink. Nice way to start.
Got our rooms and then went straight to the pool. My grandson lives for the few times he is able to swim with his London based uncle. Most years, it is only one day. So glad we went early since we never got back to the pool on this trip.
Next, caught the hotel bus into Disney Village. This bus is great, it runs every 15 minutes and has a route with some hotels and then the village, where the train station is also located. And it is free to use! Great asset for us all.
We all felt the Disney magic already simply by being at the village. You do have to go through security before entering the village, but you don't need a ticket to enter. There are Disney shops and various places to eat and drink. An Imax and some other forms of entertainment as well.

After exploring the shops and my first Starbucks "You are Here" mug, France since I did not see anything more definite, we went to Planet Hollywood for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and we had a super time.

Then it was back to the shops and what became a regular tradition at the end of the day - buying a beignet or crepe - before catching the bus.
Early start tomorrow, so we all said good night and collapsed in our own various heaps.
